Every year the members of our program work together over a 3 to 4 week period to create a Gingerbread village for the Holidays. It’s always a great collaborative effort with a lot of concentration, eating of frosting and laughter. This year is the first time we decided to display the TPYK masterpiece at the Lawrence Barn annual gingerbread house competition so our community can see the wonderful work being done at TPYK. I’m thrilled to report that TPYK received a 1st place ribbon for the non-family group category. Our group is SO proud to have received this honor! This annual project is so unique and important because each individual in the program has added their own special touch of creativity, storytelling and skill.
