DESCRIPTION:The Coalition of Caring Planning Committee is pleased to announce The 18th Annual New Hampshire Caregiver’s Conference on November 13th\, 2024\, from 8AM – 4PM. Krissy Wuerdeman\, MS\, CVT\, CDP\, CIH (Owner\, That Place You Know\, LLC) will be a guest speaker at the event focusing her workshop on “Utilizing Validation as an Effective Tool in Mindful Caregiving”. \nIn this workshop\, caregivers will learn about the effectiveness of the Validation Method and how to apply validation techniques throughout the caregiver journey. The caregivers will also have the opportunity to brainstorm and identify common obstacles that prevent them from exercising mindfulness and create daily practices that can help reduce stress\, anxiety\, and burnout from the responsibilities of caregiving. \nKrissy is a strong advocate for caregiver support having been a caregiver for her mother for many years. She is the managing director of a social day program that provides respite for families who care for loved ones living with memory loss. She is currently one of only a handful of health care professionals in New England who is a Certified Validation Teacher (CVT)\, which is a holistic method of communication that utilizes empathy. \n			\n				Sign Up Now!
